Alert! : Kaduna lawmaker, others kidnapped on Birnin Gwari road

Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped​ a Kaduna lawmaker, Isa Salihu​. He was abducted on Friday​, along with ​three other persons ​on the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road. ‎ Isa Salihu is a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly represent​ing​ Magajin Garin Constituency​.​ ​It was gathered that the lawmaker was abducted while travelling to‎ Birnin Gwari from the state capital. ​The incident occurred just over a week after armed men kidnapped ​the ​lawmaker representing Takai/Sumaila Federal constituency of Kano State, Garba Durbunde. ​He was abducted at Jere, along Abuja Road, Kaduna, while returning to Abuja after a trip to Kano.
